Summer Music Camp! Yay!

It’s back by popular demand!!!  The last 3 years we have discontinued regular classes for our advanced students and they have come to a summer music camp instead. The music camps have allowed us to work on more complex ensembles with larger groups of kids.  Attendance tends to be irregular in the summer so it is so hard to make progress in the weekly format.  And kids at this age can concentrate for longer periods of time and accomplish a lot more in a short two day session. Past summer music camps have included Space Camp,  Video Game Camp and we have video footage to attest to how much fun we had.  Adventures include singing, ensembles, crafts, games.

This year is Musical Adventure Camps and they will be offered to JXC and JAC students.  If you do not attend class with your child, then your child is eligible for camp.

There is no change in fees, you continue your regular tuition payments.  For an additional $100 you are welcome to come to 2 camps.

If you take private lessons, your lessons will continue.  Check with your teacher if you need to adjust your scheduled time.

Dates for this year’s camps are:

June 21-22  Saturday and Sunday  3-6 pm.

July 12-13  Saturday and Sunday 3-6 pm.

There will be a concert and celebration at the end of each camp.
