Family Music Time Kicked off the New Year with Singing and Dancing!

On Tuesday, January 15 at 10:30am, we had a large lovely group of little singers, dancers, watchers and players! We sang songs about animals and explored the many kinds of animals on “Old MacDonald’s Farm.”
The babies and toddlers were especially captivated by the little finger puppet animals that were used for Old MacDonald.

After we did “Everybody Jump!”, “Open, Shut Them!”, “Here We Go ‘Round the Mulberry Bush” and “Over in the Meadow”, among other favorites, we had free play for everyone. The babies and toddlers chose from several different centers (musical instruments, bells, tambourines, castanets, triangles, blocks, a doll house, reading center, and a train set). We know how much fun it is to play with new and different toys with other kids and we love getting the chance to interact with the babies, toddlers, moms, dads and grandparents as the little ones explore and play.
