It’s Never Too Late!

Maybe you have always wanted to play, but never had the chance.  Now is your chance! Adult piano classes are here and it’s the kind of class that’s fun and effective.  The course is Keyboard Encounters by Yamaha and it’s specifically designed with the adult in mind.  You will get to attend a weekly class with up to 5 other adult beginners.  Each week you will encounter new musical concepts, learn to play and read new songs and ensembles, and you will make beautiful music all along the way.

We will start from the very beginning, but you will be playing right away in many different styles and genres.  And there’s something for everybody, including classical, rhythm and blues, jazz, rock and roll, pop, baroque, romantic and many other musical styles.

The course is divided into 6 modules that each come with a book.  The course covers musical concepts, notation, music theory, rhythm, melody, harmony, lead sheet chords, chord symbols, and music history.  With a certified instructor and the help of the latest state-of-the-art Yamaha Clavinova technology, learning to play will be made easy and fun.
