4-3-2-1 Blast off!

Space Camp was a big hit!  Here’s just a sampling of what we did in two days (only 6 hours!)

1. Played “Star Wars” keyboard ensemble
2. Sang “Fly Me to the Moon” solfege style (an old Sinatra standard)
3. Designed and recorded our own space video
4. Learned and recorded the video music – 2001 Space Odyssey movie theme (“Also sprach Zarathustra” by R. Strauss)
5. Learned about life in outer space
6. Sang “Space Oddity”
7. Created our own spaceships and other UFOs
8. Made new friends!
9. Learned the planets through song
10. Listened to Holst’s The Planets
11. Danced to “Spacey” songs
12. Space improvisation – creating songs that sound like outer space
13. Learned the chromatic scale
