Free Class
Our specialized music program is unique and is hard to capture into words. We recommend you bring your child to a free preview class to experience and see what we’re all about. At the free class you will do all of the activities that are typical in the class, as well as see the materials we use, and hear the recordings that accompany the musical instruction. Class Descriptions
In the baby class (Seasonal Twees) you will see the wonder on your child’s face as they listen to the music about the different seasons, watch the teacher use engaging puppets, and feel the movement of the motions that match the style and words of the music. Click here for more details
Music Wonderland is our newest course created by Yamaha. It’s a magical adventure into the world of music where children encounter elephants, clowns, and the music fairy. The music captures their imagination and their world transforms as they land their alien ship on the keyboard and march on Mars. Junior Music Course for PreK and Kinder aged children is when the Yamaha Method gets serious. Students begin learning keyboard repertoire and receive specialized ear training activities that include learning the musical language of solfege. Students will sing and play in several different keys and with rich expression, all with their young spirit in mind. Keyboard exercises are disguised as irresistible games with fun videos to watch, repertoire pieces are playful arrangements full of whimsical orchestrations made with professional recordings, and all of the activities are designed to be short and highly effective to accommodate those busy little minds and bodies. Young Musicians Course is a comprehensive musicianship course designed for 1st-3rd graders that utilizes the children’s voices, finger dexterity, and curiosity to develop their singing and keyboard playing abilities, as well as their understanding of music theory. Each repertoire piece and finger exercise is accompanied by professional recordings. Students learn to play in ensembles together, sing in parts, and become fluent in solfege singing.
